Paradigms Secondary and High School is a private school that offers HIGH QUALITY education to students.  The school admits male and female students and offers both day and boarding services to cater for individual needs.

Paradigms Secondary and High School is located at Bonyokwa Hills, Mavurunza Sub-division, Kimara ward, Kinondoni District. The school is situated 20 km from Dar es Salaam City Centre, 3.5 km off Morogoro Road, in a 25 acre piece of land with all the essential infrastructure and facilities.

We are voluntary agents of the Tanzania Education System offering the Tanzanian National Education Curriculum based Secondary Education developed by Tanzania Institute of Education and examined by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).

SUBJECTS COMBINATIONS

Paradigms Secondary School offers O’level Secondary Education for form I – IV
Paradigms High School, offers the following combinations, PCM, PCB, PGM, CBG, EGM, HGE, HGL, HKL, HGK and ECA.

SECONDARY AND HIGH SCHOOL FEES STRUCTURE

Day                 250,000/= x 3 =    750,000/=
Boarding        450,000/= x 3 = 1,350,000/=
Registration for O’level and A’level T.shs. 100,000/=
School fees is payable in three equal installments January, April and July  for O’level; March, June and October for A’level.
Registration fees is payable only once during registration.

WHY CHOOSE PARADIGMS

We are determined and have all the necessary resources which enable us to give our different stakeholders extra value proposition.

The resources are:

(a)        Human Resources
We have 17 graduate teachers, who are highly committed, experienced, dynamic and focused, selected through competitive recruitment criteria. 

These professionals are recruited, re-trained, motivated and retained in a goal congruence philosophy.

Also we have 14 non – teaching staff dealing with matters outside the classrooms, mostly for quality welfare assurance. i.e. nurse, cooks, matron, patron, security guards, secretary, accountant, logistics officer.

(b)       Financial and Physical Assets
We have a 25 acre piece of land which is planned strategically to meet our present and future needs.

We have 30 classrooms, 3 modern laboratories, a modern library, administration blocks, teachers offices, kitchen, shop, among other things.  We also have 6 dormitories to cater for 700 students.

We are connected with high grid electricity, urban water supply systems and a gravel road to our school.  We have an electric generator and 3 deep wells as a back up facility.

We have football, netball and volleyball grounds to ensure physical fitness and psychological well being of our students.

In our five year development plan we expect to put in place, a multipurpose hall, security wall, 40 more classes and 4 more dormitories to accommodate 500 students, modern playing grounds, water reservoirs, as well as an advanced dispensary

 

(c)        Information and Know how
Research conducted by the schools in different subject areas has enabled us to identify appropriate and relevant curriculum materials; pedagogy and teaching aids that make us offer unique services. Paradigms Secondary and High School has put in place a team of competent, relevant and experienced personnel who continuously formulate sound and workable policies, goals and strategies towards our vision.

(d)       Network and Relations
Paradigms Institute Ltd, which owns and manages the Paradigms Secondary and High School, is networked with various strategic stakeholders, within and outside the country which have similar interests.
The Institute has sustainable strategy of using the network and a long term relation with its strategic stakeholders to acquire strategic resources to enable it to offer unique services to the satisfaction of its various customers.
The Tanzania Investment Bank Ltd, which has financed phase II expansion project, has shown interest in working together with us in terms of growth and capacity building

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission process starts with completion of an interview application form available at the school, followed by interview and placement upon successful performance and acceptance to adhere to the set rules and regulations.
